Sheetal qualified from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ Hospital. She successfully completed her MFDS at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and later went on to complete the Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Hospital. Sheetal also successfully completed the Orthodontic course for General Dentists at The Brace Orthodontic practice in central London and continually strives to enhance and broaden her skills.
Sheetal has a breadth of experience in various fields of dentistry. She began her career in Community Dental Services, looking after anxious, phobic and medically compromised patients, as well as special needs patients and children, providing treatment under local or general anaesthetic and sedation. Sheetal also spent part of her career as a clinical teacher in the Department of Sedation & Special Care at Guy’s Hospital.
Whilst completing her MFDS qualification, she worked as a Senior House Officer in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Northampton General Hospital, where she gained a wealth of experience in complex oral surgical procedures, dental emergencies including trauma and working as a doctor in an extremely busy hospital environment. Since then, she has worked in a number of general dental practices, both under the NHS and in a private capacity. As referred to previously, she has special interests in Oral Surgery and Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry.
Sheetal is an honest and highly professional dentist, and is able to remain calm under pressure. It is this work ethic that gives patients the reassurance that they will receive high quality, relevant dental treatment and build a long-term relationship with their dentist.
Outside of work, Sheetal has her hands full with her two young children and extends her artistic talents in baking, drawing and painting.
